On May 9, 2025 (14:30–16:30, Beijing Time), the first Frontier Forum on Food Nutrition Chemistry was successfully held in a virtual format.

Research Presentations:

Prof. Libing Liu (Editor-in-Chief, China Agricultural University) introduced novel risk-factor intervention technologies for food safety applications.

Prof. Liqing Zhao (Editorial Board Member, Shenzhen University) shared insights on the screening and application of functional probiotics.

Core Technology Discussions: 

The forum facilitated multidimensional discussions at the intersection of food science and biomedicine, focusing on three central themes:

  1. The Food Industry and Emerging Technology Applications;
  2. Functional Requirements, Mechanisms of Action, and Industrialization Challenges in Food and Nutraceuticals;
  3. Isolation, Identification, and Database Expansion of Novel Probiotic Strains.

The first Frontier Forum hosted by Prof. Bingji Ma (Editorial Board Member, Henan Agricultural University) , the forum brought together scholars from institutions such as China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, Jiangnan University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Northwest A&F University. Participants contributed innovative insights and strategies to advance the field of nutritional chemistry.
